A New Year’s message from our founder.

Dear friends & family,

Happy New Year! I would like to wish you all a very happy and prosperous 2017, and thank you for your patronage over the past year. With your support, we made 2016 another outstanding year here at Rohrbach’s.

Rohrbach’s was again the recipient of two D&C Readers Choice Awards with a gold and a silver medal. We thank all of you who voted for us and are honored to have received recognition in such competitive categories.

We introduced our Neoteric Series with some brand new brews, including our Inter-Planetary Lager (IPL), Iron Smoke Wheat Ale, and Don’t Be Jelly Peanut Butter Porter. We look forward to continuing this series of small-batch beers, which will be offered in both can and draft at your favorite restaurants and retail stores.

Speaking of cans, we were thrilled to officially re-release Space Kitty Double IPA as a year-round offering in draft and in 16oz cans. We are humbled by the response it’s received thus far, and are working hard to continue and grow its availability.

The Rohrbach Tasting Room on Railroad Street was converted into the Beer Hall with the addition of a 12-tap draft line and a wood-fired pizza oven to complement its expanded seating space.  Again, we thank those of you who have visited our new space and encourage those of you who haven’t to come check out our renovations and enjoy a pizza or a market-fresh salad.

We look forward to continuing our successes into 2017. We will be entering the Syracuse/Binghamton market in January and Albany will follow shortly after. More fermentation tanks are on order to keep up with demand and as stated, many exciting new Neoterics and small-batches will be released. And Rochester Public Market fans rejoice! — Rohrbach Beer will again be the official beer of the 2017 Food Truck Rodeos.

Thank you again for continuing on this journey with us into our 26th year of making craft beer in our favorite city – Rochester.

Cheers!
John
