When the Rohrbach team first decided to do a Space Kitty variant for our next Hop Drop release, Perseverance had just made its successful Mars landing on February 18, 2021. An amazing feat for NASA, we couldn’t think of a better way to give our beloved Space Kitty new life.
The illustration on the can is inspired by the exact crater Perseverance made its landing, now officially named Octavia E. Butler Landing. Can you spot the Space Kitty?
